Why waste your gas and drive anywhere else to find a place where you can worship God with a great group of people and stay close to home.  Kid's Church at 10 AM, with casual worship with a traditional flavor also at 10 AM. 

Immediately following worship, in our Social Center we have coffee, juice and light refreshments with some great conversation, so you can take some time to visit, share stories and meet with your friends (some new) and neighbors.  We are easy to find.

  • Easter Party was held on March 27th. See our photos.

  • Millington United Methodist Vacation Bible School was held in June, 2009. Lots of fun and learning. See our photos.

  • Kid's Church
    Sunday's at 10:00 am. Details listed in the latest Newsletter. Parents please take advantage.

  • Kendall County Food Pantry
    Non-Perishable and canned goods, along with clean linens may be placed in the basket near the altar.
  • Mission Proceeds

    June - Paint and supplies for the classroom and hallways plus sidewalk repair.
    July - LaSalle Veterans Home
    August - LaSalle County Homeless Shelter

  • Community Potluck Lunches and Games
     We continue to have potluck lunches starting     around 12:00 pm and finishing up around 2:00 pm. We plan to meet the third Wednesday of the month, on a quarterly basis (This is NEW!). The luncheons will be held at the Newark Senior Center (This is NEW!) to better access the seniors living there. Millington United Methodist Church will sponsor this event for seniors, retirees or anyone else that has the time for a fun social.  Bring your favorite games and stories to share.

  • Little Dresses for Africa - July 21st, Aug 4th and Aug 18th, 2010
    (3) Wednesday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm at MUMC. Help make dresses for little orphan girls. We have made 52 dresses so far! See Flyer for details and also www.littledressesforafrica.org.

  • Sept ?? , 2010 - Potluck Luncheon @ Noon
    (at the Newark Senior Center)

  • June 21st to 25th, 2010 - GALACTIC BLAST: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God! Vacation Bible School for all children.

    9 am until noon each day beginning June 21st. Call pastor Kirk Scott to be part of the fun! See Flyer for details.

  • Annual Scarecrow Festival
    This is scheduled for October 2 & 3, 2010, from 10 AM to 4 PM.  MUMC will run food concession. Details at www.MeadowlandsFarm.com
