Why waste your gas and drive anywhere else to find a place where you can worship God with a great group of people and stay close to home.  Kid's Church at 9:00 AM, with casual worship with a traditional flavor also at 10:00 AM. 

Immediately following worship, in our Social Center we have coffee, juice and light refreshments with some great conversation, so you can take some time to visit, share stories and meet with your friends (some new) and neighbors.  We are easy to find.

  • Adult Bible Study - 9:00am Sundays
    "24 Hours that Changed the World"
    This study is of course about the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. This program will run for seven weeks starting 2-19-12 and leading up to Easter Sunday.  Lessons will include, The Last Supper, The garden of Gethsemane, The Crucifixion and Christ the Victor.

  • Millington United Methodist Vacation Bible School 2011 was held on June 20th through the 24th. We had a very good turn out with 35 kids and 15 youth helpers. It was a great week!

  • "Over the River and Through the Woods" Italian themed dinner theater in partnership with Fern Hill Historic Association was held on June 24th - 26th. (See Flyer for Details.) We had over 125 in attendance over the 3 nights.

  • New Adult Bible Study will start this Spring 2012.

  • Millington United Methodist Church Conference was held on November 08, 2011. Details listed in the Minutes

  • Millington United Methodist Church 2010 Outreach Giving Report.

  • Kid's Church
    Sunday's at 9:00 am. Parents please take advantage.

  • Kendall County Food Pantry
    Non-Perishable and canned goods, along with clean linens may be placed in the basket near the altar.

  • Community Potluck Lunches and Games
     We continue to have potluck lunches starting     around 12:00 pm and finishing up around 2:00 pm. We plan to meet the third Wednesday of the month, on a quarterly basis. The luncheons will be held at the Newark Senior Center to better access the seniors living there. Millington United Methodist Church will sponsor this event for seniors, retirees or anyone else that has the time for a fun social.  Bring your favorite games and stories to share.

  • Little Dresses for Africa
    1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6 pm to 9 pm at MUMC. Help make dresses for little orphan girls. We have made over 300 dresses so far and have sent many to Africa, Haiti and the Red Bird Mission in Appalachia. See Flyer for details and also www.littledressesforafrica.org.
