Millington United Methodist Church Completes Christmas Tree Project

The women of Millington UMC completed their project of decorating our 9 ½ foot Christmas tree in the sanctuary with Christian symbols this year. These symbols have been passed down over the centuries and include, various style crosses, Alpha & Omega, anchor, dove and fish. The tree has white lights and the decorations are all made in white and gold. A group of people began meeting last summer to make the decorations and were able to complete over one-hundred decorations. This beautiful tree will be on display in the church sanctuary through the middle of January and during the Advent and Christmas seasons for many years to come.
